New Mercedes-Benz uncrashable toy car commercial
In the wonderful world of Mercedes-Benz, innovation is at the core. Not only does Mercedes-Benz constantly come up with ways for drivers to be safer on the road, but they also come up with clever new ways to advertise the products. In the new Mercedes-Benz uncrashable toy car commercial, children get duped (in a cute way). If you hand a child a two toy cars, one of their first instincts is to crash them together. In the commercial, kids attempt to crash their new mini Mercedes-Benz models together and fail, due to the strong magnets placed in the front of the toys. This obviously frustrates the kids, but Mercedes-Benz has a purpose behind tricking the future car-drivers of the world, and it points toward an incredible new technology found in several of Mercedes-Benz’ models.
Mercedes-Benz Brake Assist System PLUS technology
Mercedes-Benz Brake Assist PLUS is a great way for drivers who would prefer not to crash (unlike the kids in the commercial) to avoid it. The system works via a series of radars and sensors positioned in the front of the vehicle (that can span up to 655 feet and a few lanes of traffic). When your vehicle is too quickly approaching another, the system goes off and will prepare the car for fast braking. An emergency braking system will be initiated if the driver doesn’t respond fast enough. The system does not neglect to consider anyone who may be behind the quickly-braking vehicle, as it also includes flashing brake lights to warn those who may be too closely behind.
