2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS Class SUV changes and release date
When it comes to making smart changes with lineups, Mercedes-Benz is ahead of the curve. If you follow the brand, you’ve probably already heard about the new naming scheme it will be integrating into future models. We’ve already heard about the famous roadster- the SLK- transitioning to the SLC once the 2017 model year hits, and now we’re catching wind that the GL-Class will now be badged as the GLS-Class. The added S at the end of the name is supposedly meant to signify that the SUV will be positioned next to the S-Class, one of the most luxurious models from Mercedes-Benz. 2017 GLS-Class SUV updates
While the GLS-Class has yet to be revealed, various work-in-progress models have been spotted. There are a few changes that we may see in the 2017 SUV, including the exterior and interior. On the outside, we should see an updated bumper and grille, giving the vehicle a new edgy style. New headlights will grace the front of the vehicle, but with the same shape in the rear (although, there are rumors that new graphics will appear on/in them). On the interior of the vehicle, a newly designed dashboard should make an appearance, as well as a shiny, new infotainment system. If that isn’t enough to get you excited, we don’t know what is!
2017 GLS-Class SUV release date
While all of this exciting information is leaking into the auto world, there isn’t much information about when the SUV will be released to the public. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class is supposedly going to be revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show next month (November 2015), so hopefully more information and news on the release date will appear then.
