2017 Trick-or-Treat Times in Dallas and Fort Worth (DFW)

We’re nearing October, which means we’re also getting spookily close to Halloween. If you and yours are into trick-or-treating, DFW is a great area to be in. There are tons of places to knock on doors, and there’s also plenty of time allotted to do it! If you’re curious what the hours look like for 2017, keep on reading. We’ve also provided a few fun alternatives, for those who aren’t too keen on walking around local neighborhoods!

Official Hours

The Dallas-Fort Worth area usually hosts its trick-or-treat on Halloween night, which is October 31, 2017. Normally, DFW doesn’t provide any specific times, and the same is going to occur for this year’s event.

The kids (and adults) can head out around sundown – about 6:40 p.m. for this year. The fun usually lasts until around 9 p.m. and should be completely over by 9:30.

Homes who are handing out goodies should turn their front porch light on as an indicator that goodies are available, and turn the light off when they no longer wish to participate.
