Where to cut your own Christmas trees in Dallas TX

It’s nearly Thanksgiving, which means that you’re probably about to put a fir tree in your home for the next round of holidays. One of the best things about Christmas (or any other holiday) is getting to spend time with the ones you hold dear, and what better way to do that than by cutting a tree together and decorating it! Dallas has plenty of farms that allow you to cut your own Christmas trees – all you have to do is decide which one to choose from. In case you haven’t ventured out to find a tree before, or you’re looking for some place new, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best farms in the area.

North Pole Farms

If you’re not looking to move too far away from Dallas, you don’t have to. Right in Dallas, North Pole Farms offers a wide variety of Christmas trees, garland and wreaths! One of the best things about this farm is that they also deliver! Hours are as follows:

Monday through Friday | 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. || Saturday and Sunday | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Treeland Nursery

Tree shopping on a budget? Treeland Nursery claims to have the lowest prices in the area! There are over 4,000 trees to choose from at the farm (located north of Dallas), which means that you’ll really be able to be picky and find the perfect tree! The hours are as follows:

Monday through Saturday | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. || Sunday | 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Flower Mound Christmas Tree Farm

If you have kids, you may want to take them to Flower Mound to burn off some energy! Not only does this tree farm offer 7 different varieties of trees, but there are also free activities for the kids, like bounce houses and hay bales. There’s also free hot chocolate! The hours are as follows:

Sunday through Thursday | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. || Friday and Saturday | 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
