Since the Land Rover Defender was launched in 1948, it has stolen hearts all over the world. Now, almost 70 years later, the Defender is set to return to dealerships, giving drivers another chance to own the iconic model. With the reveal of the Defender slated for 2018 and the release for 2019, drivers have some time to save up, get excited and dream about what the next Land Rover Defender has in store. 2019 Land Rover Defender body styles

2019 Land Rover Defender available body styles The 2019 Land Rover Defender is expected to offer five different body styles, giving shoppers in the market for an icon, several options to choose from. So far, the following models are set to make an appearance:

Two-door models: Two-door models will make its way into the newest Defender’s lineup. It is assumed that the two styles will come with a hard-top and a soft-top option, as was previously offered on the model.

Four-door model: The four-door model is expected to make waves as the largest in the lineup. It will offer a longer wheelbase, as well as space to comfortably seat up to 8 passengers (how cool is that?).

Two-door/four-door pickup models: The 2019 Defender will also sport a bit of pickup style. With a two- and four-door option, drivers will be able to choose which style suits them best.

While we would like to further speculate on the look of these models, Land Rover is making sure it keeps us in the dark. It was rumored that the models could resemble Defender concepts; however, the Land Rover design director said that it will “bear no resemblance to those Defender concepts.” Stay tuned for more information on our blog.
