Land Rover’s Discovery Sport gets a new infotainment system

2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport U.S. release date

Land Rover is notorious for creating some of the auto world’s most capable models. While that is the case, the brand is always working to innovate and refine the technology it includes in its most popular vehicles. The Land Rover Discovery Sport is a fairly young model in the United States, but it already has a promising future. The brand is investing a lot of time and effort into making the model something that luxury enthusiasts will enjoy for years to come, so the 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport is getting an infotainment system upgrade.

Land Rover Discovery Sport infotainment system technology upgrade

Like we stated earlier, Land Rover is on top of things in the innovation department. The 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport- fondly known as the Disco Sport- will arrive on the market with a brand-new infotainment system. Land Rover’s InControl Touch Pro touchscreen system will boast a slew of new updates, like a 10.2-inch screen, a quad-core processor and a hard drive. The design is meant to mimic a smartphone and offers drivers plenty of new features and functions, including one that tells you whether or not you’ve forgotten your keys. Shouldn’t every vehicle have that by now?

2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport release date and pricing

It’s pretty exciting that this hot, new, technology-filled vehicle will be making it over the pond to the U.S. So, when might that be? We can expect the all-new Disco Sport to arrive in dealerships by August (not too much longer!). The model will start at the fairly affordable cost of $37, 695. Those who want to further decorate their Disco Sport will find that the price can jolt up to around $55,000. While that’s pretty steep, we’re sure it’s worth every penny.
