2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport technology features and pricing
Land Rover has recently announced a number of design improvements and technology features to the 2017 Discovery Sport, including a new Dynamic Design Pack and the availability of the advanced Land Rover InControl Touch Pro infotainment system. The enhancements and additions meet consumer demands for a stand-out vehicle with a wide range of personalization options. About the Discovery Sport Dynamic Design Pack
The design pack features unique front and rear bumpers, black accented exterior details, and gloss black 20-inch wheels. As for interior design enhancements, the new Discovery Sport will boast contrast stitched leather seats and gear shift knob, distinct carpet mats, metal finish pedals, and center dash side panel finishers.
The new Discovery Sport will also be available in four new exterior body colors: Silicon Silver, Farallon Black, Carpathian Grey, and Aruba Metallic.
The premium compact SUV will be available for purchase in August 2016 with prices starting from $37,695.
Land Rover InControl Touch Pro System
The technological additions for Land Rover’s 2017 model year are centered around the advanced Land Rover InControl Touch Pro infotainment system. The updated system provides a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen and intuitive menus that replicate the look of smartphone apps, all in an effort to make the software familiar and user-friendly.

Discovery Sport Advanced Driver Assistance Features
In addition to the enhanced design and technology features, the 2017 Discovery Sport will come equipped with three driver assistance systems to help keep drivers safe on the road.
The Driver Condition Monitor continuously monitors driver inputs to look for signs of fatigue alerts the driver via visual and audible warnings if it detects signs of driver drowsiness.
Intelligent Speed Limiter is designed to help drivers abide by the speed limit. The system uses Traffic Sign Recognition to detect changes in the upcoming speed limit and prompts the driver to accept the new maximum speed. Once accepted, the SUV will automatically slow to the speed limit.
Lane Keep Assist uses the forward facing camera on the Discovery Sport to detect lane markings and alerts the driver if they begin to veer out of their lane without enabling the turn signal. The vehicle is designed to gently counter-steer to ensure the vehicle does not leave the lane unintentionally.
