What’s the difference between the BMW 5, 6 and 7 Series?
If you’re considering a luxury model, chances are that you’ve considered BMW as a possible contender. 5 Series
The BMW 5 Series is the brand’s executive car model. It was first produced in 1972, and has since evolved into a one of the brand’s best-selling models (just behind the 3 Series). The model comes in a few different body styles, like a 4-door sedan, a 5-door station wagon, and a 5-door gran turismo (the high-performance version of the model).
6 Series
If you’re looking for a full-sized luxury car that’s comfortable and capable of traveling long distances, the BMW 6 Series might be right up your alley. The model was first produced in 1976, but then was stopped in 1989. Luckily, it reappeared in 2003 and has been going strong since. The model is available in a 2-door coupe and convertible, as well as a 4-door gran coupe.
7 Series
As another full-size option in the BMW luxury sedan lineup, the BMW 7 Series offers a 4-door sedan body style. The 7 Series also serves as BMW’s flagship car – a true representation of the brand’s excellence. The model has been produced since 1977, and now offers an M Performance model, giving it more power and performance options.
