When Will the 2020 BMW X5 Be Available in Dallas and Fort Worth?

With production of the all-new 2020 BMW X5 scheduled to start in August 2019, you can expect to see the next-generation BMW X5 at Dallas-Fort Worth area dealerships in the fall of 2019. Drivers who are interested in the BMW X5 xDrive45e iPerformance PHEV variant will have to wait until the early part of 2020 to get behind the wheel of the BMW X5 plug-in hybrid. The 2020 BMW X5 is available in four standard grades – sDrive40i, xDrive40i, xDrive50i and M50i – with a base price that starts at $58,900.

What’s New for the 2020 BMW X5 Design and Features?

Performance is a trademark of the BMW brand and the 2020 BMW X5 will deliver elite performance at every turn. BMW X5 sDrive40i and X5 xDrive40i entries employ a 335-horsepower 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine that will sprint from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. An upgrade to the BMW X5 xDrive50i means an upgrade to the 456-horsepower 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V-8 that will allow you to go from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The all-new track-tuned BMW M50i features a 523-horsepower 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V-8 and will vault from zero to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. All BMW X5 variants employ an eight-speed automatic transmission and are available with BMW xDrive Intelligent AWD.

Updates to the 2020 BMW X5 spec sheet include a wireless charging system and onboard Wi-Fi in upper trim levels and an available Comfort Access package for the BMW sDrive40i. The all-new BMW X5 M50i will set itself apart from the rest of the lineup with 20-inch bi-color wheels, M Sport brakes, an M Sport rear differential, an adaptive suspension system, an M Sport steering wheel, advanced aerodynamic elements, a rear spoiler and an upgraded interior. Highlights of the BMW X5 gear list include a BMW iDrive 7.0 touchscreen infotainment system, dual 12.3-inch displays, BMW Live Cockpit Professional technology, Apple CarPlay, Dynamic Cruise Control, a power liftgate, heated front seats and more.
