If you’re someone who likes a thrill, the Addison Oktoberfest offers a full carnival experience! This year, there will be amusement rides, midway games, and food booths for everyone to enjoy. In order to purchase items at the carnival, be sure to find yourself some Tasty Bucks – these are the only way to pay at the carnival.
What’s an Oktoberfest without keg tapping? On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, Mayor Joe Chow, the Marriott Quorum, or Crowne Plaza will be hosting the tapping of the keg. Be sure to join in for this ceremony, which will take place at 8 p.m. each evening at the Schloss Addison Main Stage! It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
If there’s something Germany does well, it’s cars – trust us, we have plenty of them in our inventory. The car show will be taking place on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a brat-eating contest taking place around 1 p.m. Be sure you stop down and stay the entire time, so you don’t miss the awards for the eating contest and the best of show!
There’s nothing that can brighten a day like a bit of yodeling. If this event sounds like it’s up your alley, be sure to head to the Bowl Stage on Friday evening! The event will begin at 9 p.m. and will feature a slew of talented (or untalented) yodelers. A prize will be awarded to whoever can yodel the best. Be sure to register at 8:30 p.m. sharp!
Parking might just be the trickiest part of any large event, so we thought we’d help you out! There is free parking in the following areas:
