Chrysler pushes Alfa Romeo launch to 2017

New Alfa Romeo Giulia U.S. release date

We don’t often highlight Chrysler; however, in light of the brand’s involvement in a new Alfa Romeo, we wanted to give you something fresh. If you follow Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) news, you’ve probably heard of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the unnamed SUV that were scheduled for production. While the Giulia was displayed during the Frankfurt Motor show, it seems there will be a minor setback in the production of the performance vehicle, as well as the SUV. While this may sound like the be-all-end-all of the new Alfa Romeo, it is not. There will be a new Alfa Romeo Giulia U.S. release date, but it will be slightly delayed due to a six-month delay in Europe. The delay was due to safety and handling issues; however, that won’t stop the production or launch from occurring.

Alfa Romeo Giulia styling

The newest Alfra Romeo Giulia has similar styling to the BMW 3-Series, which means it’s a beauty (we’re biased). It also throws back to certain style aspects commonly seen in BMW, Jaguar and Maserati. As a rear-wheel drive, the vehicle has its front wheels sitting pretty far to the front of the vehicle, giving it a sport-like appearance. New Alfa Romeo Giulia U.S. release dateSimplicity and elegance (without being too over-the-top) seems to be the style that the brand was going for. The design elements will most likely play a large role in the brand’s success, as it aims to open quite a few more dealerships across the United States (it only has 120 currently).

2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia release date

Originally, the car was set to make an appearance by the end of this year, but as we said, there have been a few setbacks. FCA representatives have made it clear that production will continue; however, it will be about two years before the U.S. sees the vehicle. At the moment, it is speculated that the vehicle (and the secret SUV) won’t make it out of production until about 2017 (2018 for the SUV). So, if you were hoping to get your hands on one of these models soon, you’ll have to channel a bit more patience.
