2017 Cadillac CT6 Super Cruise will be hands free
The auto world is evolving faster than ever, allowing ideas that were once far-fetched to become modern realities. Cadillac has been around the block (both literally and figuratively), so the brand was no doubt around before the idea of autonomous, self-driving cars could have been a realistic idea. However, that hasn’t stopped the elderly brand from revolutionizing its ways to meet modern standards. Last year, we caught wind of Cadillac’s ambition to create an autonomous automobile. While many autonomous automobiles still require some contact with the steering wheel, the 2017 Cadillac CT6 Super Cruise will be hands free.

Like we said, the idea behind the new Cadillac will be to outshine current models that are currently creating autonomous vehicles. While some larger luxury brands are taking up the challenge, their vehicles do not offer an entirely hands-free experience for the driver. So- just like Infiniti– Cadillac is setting the goal to make the 2017 CT6 a hands-free model (when it’s in autonomous mode). Cadillac’s new Super Cruise system
As wonderful as it sounds to have a hands-free highway driving experience, it raises some concerns (for those of us who may not entirely understand how this all works). Cadillac plans to make the Super Cruise system the means by which drivers can take their hands of the steering wheel while the car is running. Of course, the brand says there will still be a way in which drivers can stay interactive, but they haven’t specified what that is yet. So, now that Cadillac has taken up the challenge that its luxury competitors have also- Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Infiniti and more- the brand is truly proving that it is timeless.
