2017 BMW i3 electric range
Currently, the BMW i3 model is able to get about 80 miles on all-electric power. While that is more impressive than many other models on the market, the goal is to continue to increase it. According to the rumors, BMW will be boosting the i3’s electric range to 120 miles, which is a significant increase. There is also a possibility that the extended-range model could see an increase of about 200 miles, which would make the model ideal competition for the Chevy Bolt (set to arrive later this year). A lithium-ion battery will support the new mile range, While the brand is still working on the model, there’s bound to be more news soon, as it is set to arrive fairly soon.
