2016 Mercedes-Benz G550 new engine

The G-Class (more specifically, the G550) has undergone a number of upgrades for the 2016 model year, including a new engine. The new model now sports a new twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8- the one from the AMG GT- which has the capability of outputting an upwards of 416 horsepower (an improvement of 34 horsepower in comparison to the 5.5-liter V8). In regard to the rest of the lineup, just like the past, the newest G-Class has only had minor adjustments to its other parts. A new front bumper graces the exterior of the G-Class, along with new wheel options. New color options and a redesigned instrument cluster have also made their way into the loosely-redesigned SUV, tweaking it just enough to re-spark some interest.
