If you’re from the Dallas area, you know that each holiday brings a variety of events and activities to locals. While that may be the case, some people may want to avoid the downtown Dallas crowd. Dallas is a cozy place, so if you’re not looking to leave for Labor Day, Deep Ellum is hosting it’s annual vintage car show. There will be a variety of awesome classics for you to feast your eyes on beginning at noon on September 3, 2016. This event is FREE. If you’re looking for a solid parade in the Dallas area (that doesn’t lead you into a massive downtown crowd), Garland hosts a one of the biggest parades around! If you’re into blues and a good barbecue, then you’re in luck! Bedford (about a 30 minute  drive from Dallas) is once again bringing this event to life! DART Holiday schedule

If you utilize public transportation in Dallas, keep in mind that Labor Day will affect the DART schedule. On September 5, 2016, the DART will run on its Sunday schedule, instead of the regular Monday hours.
